A Riverside Romance: Jessica & William’s Dream Oxford Wedding

Capturing the couple against the backdrop of the Radcliffe Camera and the college’s medieval architecture provided that classic, "scholarly" romance that only Oxford can offer. The ceremony was intimate and filled with light, making every shot under the stone archways feel like a piece of history.

The Journey: A Champagne Boat Trip

The real magic happened after the "I dos." Instead of a traditional car, the entire wedding party made their way to the river for a private boat trip. We sailed along the Thames with Salter’s Steamers, allowing guests to sip champagne while taking in the stunning Oxfordshire countryside. For a photographer, this is a dream—the candid joy of guests on the water and the couple sharing a quiet moment as the city spires faded into the distance was unforgettable.

The Reception: Riverside Bliss at The Perch

We docked directly at the private moorings of The Perch, a centuries-old pub nestled in Binsey. The transition from the formal college setting to the wildflower-filled garden and enchanted marquee at The Perch was seamless.
