Romsey Town Hall Wedding, Jane & Matt
At the start of 2023 I was in Southampton to photograph the wedding of the lovely Jane and Matt at the Rosey Town Hall.
I started the day getting some great shots of Matt, his Son and best man having a drink or two at the Cocky Anchor in Romsey town center. I then headed to the couples family home where Jane and her maids were getting ready. Following some relaxed prep photos it was time to go to the town hall for the ceremony.
Romsey town hall is in the Italianate style and has a prime spot on the towns market square. I captured Jane arriving in a lovely wedding car before heading up to the grand ceremony room.
Following the vows and ring exchange, Jane and Matt walked back up the aisle as husband and wife. I then captured an amazing confetti run and some really nice moments as the guests congratulated the couple. Matt and Jane wanted some natural couple photos around Romsey town, so while the guests made their way to the reception we went for a little wander.
The drinks reception was held at the nearby Wellow Golf Club, where I believe Jane and Matt are members.
After the meal I photographed some really lovely heartwarming and funny speeches. It was then time to cut the cake and photograph some fantastic ceilidh dancing. I love ceilidh, it is always guaranteed to get people on the dancefloor and having a great time.

I have photographed many weddings in fine venues all over the UK. I can see why Jane and Matt chose to get married at the Romsey Town Hall. A beautiful venue to host your ceremony. The photo opportunities are many and it is a dream venue for a photographer, with so many fantastic options available.
I really loved working with Matt and Jane, It was such a lovely day.
