Oxford Register Office Wedding, Michelle & Liam

A summer wedding in Oxford

Just catching up on some blogs and super excited to share Michelle and Liam’s fantastic wedding at the Oxford Register Office. I have done so many weddings here in the past and this one was super awesome and very memorable.

I was recommended to Michelle by my sister in law who is Michelle’s Aunty. It’s lovely to be recommended and after chatting to Michelle about their wedding plans, I knew it was going to be an amazing day.

Michelle and her mini bridesmaids got ready at home in Wallingford, before walking to the town square to catch a private wedding bus to the ceremony at the Oxford Register Office. Liam and the boys were also on the same bus but kept apart. Michelle and the bridal party downstairs with Liam on the top deck.

The ceremony was super lovely and full of laughs and tears. Unusually the exit was at the back due to the front entrance being closed for refurbishment. This was actually an advantage as there was a bit more space and I spent fifteen minutes capturing some nice candid moments of people congratulating Michelle and Liam before they headed for the bus.

Wedding Lunch at The Seven Stars

The morning part of the wedding was very intimate with just close friends and family. Following the ceremony, everyone jumped back on the bus and made the short journey to Marsh Baldon and the Seven Stars for drinks, lunch and some speeches.

It was lovely spending a couple of hours photographing everyone as they enjoyed the glorious sunshine and a few bubbles. It was then back on the bus to head to Crowmarsh Gifford, where a big surprise was waiting.

Waiting for Michelle and Liam at the Crowmarsh Gifford Village Hall was a crowd of family and friends hyped up and ready to party. The village hall had been transformed into a party paradise, with a fantastic Mexican theme.

There really was way to much going on to discuss here, but let’s just say, it was definitely one of the best parties i’ve had the pleasure of photographing. I’ll let the photos do the talking.
