Kingston Bagpuize House Wedding, Penny & Graham

A summer wedding at Kingston Bagpuize House

Just catching up on some blogs and next up is Penny and Grahams amazing wedding. Itā€™s great being a Kingston Bagpuize House Wedding photographer.  Not only is it on my doorstep, being a fifteen minute drive away, It is such a fabulous grand venue.

Previous clients Emily and Henry recommended me to Penny and Graham, after I photographed their Milton Hill House wedding a couple of years before..

Itā€™s great to get work based on a recommendation and lovely to see familiar faces.

Penny and the bridal party got ready in one of the grand rooms in the main house with Graham putting on his suit at home. The ceremony was held outside at the back of Kingston Bagpuize House, with the fantastic landscaped gardens as the backdrop, WOW. The ceremony was amazing being in such a scenic spot. Penny made her way across the lawn towards the ceremony whilst being given away by her son Henry. Iā€™m sure they will remember the ceremony for many years to come.

The drinks reception was on the same lawn whist people enjoyed a few bubbles and the glorious sunshine.

Here's what Penny had to say about their wedding

What was your favourite part of the wedding?
Difficult to identify one part, we enjoyed every minute of the day.

Please let me know about any personal or DIY touches you added to make the day a little more ā€˜youā€™.
We had our son in law make the favours and we did our own flower decorations.

Why did you choose your venue?
The perfect setting, beautiful house allowing an outside ceremony with room inside the house if it had been wet. Beautiful grounds giving the opportunity for lots of options for photographs.

How did you find using Lee Dann Photography, were there any particular things about my approach that you liked, and how did you feel about the photos once you received them?
Lee was brilliant, he did all of the pre agreed formal group photos we wanted but managed to capture the ā€œstoryā€ of our wedding by taking impromptu candid shots of everyone. Looking back at the photos reminds us of what a happy occasion it was. Lee made the most of all of the beautiful grounds to creature some imaginative photos.

He stayed all day and was there in the background taking shots without us noticing. We are very pleased with the photos and it was lovely having a slideshow that Lee put together to music.

If you were doing it all again what would be the one bit of advice youā€™d give yourself at the start of the planning process?
Wouldnā€™t change anything, it all went very smoothly and we felt weā€™d planned it all well.

A selection of images from Penny & Graham's Kingston Bagpuize Wedding

Following a nice walk around the grounds with Penny and Graham for a few natural couple photos, we all headed over to the marquee for the sit down meal. The wedding breakfast marquee sits in some of the most stunning scenery, with green space almost as far as the eye can see.

I took a little break while the guests, Penny and Graham enjoyed their meal before capturing some brilliant speeches. I finished off the evening by photographing the first dance and dancing back in the marquee.

Wedding Photography at Kingston Bagpuize House

I have photographed many weddings in fine venues all over the UK.  I see why Penny and Graham chose to get married at Kingston Bagpuize House.  A mansion, set in extensive green space with beautiful gardens and mature parkland. If it's a grand backdrop you are looking for, this really is the place.  The photo opportunities are endless and it is a dream venue for a photographer, with so many fantastic options available.

I really loved working with Penny and Graham, such lovely people and amazing to see so many familiar faces..

I hope you enjoy the photos and if you are planning a wedding I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for looking.
