Nuthurst Grange Wedding, Tracy & Dean

I love being a Nuthurst Grange Wedding photographer.  It is such a fabulous venue, I always look forward to photographing a wedding there. Previous clients Jess and Adam recommended me to Tracy and Dean, after I photographed their Warwickshire wedding a couple of years before..

It’s great to get work based on a recommendation and lovely to see familiar faces.

Tracy and Dean both chose to get ready in separate places at the venue. The ceremony was held in the Stables, which I’m guessing is an old stable, beautifully converted to host events. The ceremony was so lovely with a mixture of emotions, both laughter and a few tears. Pretty sure I had a smile glued to my face the whole time.

The drinks reception was a few steps away in the adjoining barn. Many drinks were shared to the melodic sounds of the singer, Tony Carroll.

Here's what Tracy and Dean had to say about their wedding

What was your favourite part of the wedding?
We did not have a favourite part of the wedding as we enjoyed it from start to finish - getting ready, Dean meeting and greeting the guests prior to the ceremony, family and friends coming together to share our special day which made our day.

Please let me know about any personal or DIY touches you added to make the day a little more ‘you’.
We did not want to overstate the wedding, we wanted to go as naturally as it could so that all could enjoy the day.

Why did you choose your venue?
We loved the location including how the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception could be in different parts of the venue, all of which were superb.

How did you find using Lee Dann Photography, were there any particular things about my approach that you liked, and how did you feel about the photos once you received them?
You gave good advice prior to the wedding where you listened to our wants during the video call. On arrival at the venue, you spoke with us took the time to look around the venue to capture the best possible photos in the best spots.

The photos are absolutely amazing - you captured our day just perfectly! The photos captured us as the Bride & Groom naturally as well as all the guests - all who have seen the slideshow stated 'the photos just capture the day perfectly, it that was full of love and laughter and that is clear for all to see and feel'... That is exactly what we wanted Lee, we really can't thank you enough.

If you were doing it all again what would be the one bit of advice you’d give yourself at the start of the planning process?
To try to relax prior to the wedding and allow yourself to enjoy every moment - which we were able to do.

Following a nice walk around the grounds with Tracy and Dean for a few natural couple photos, we all headed over to the Hotel for the sit down meal. The wedding breakfast room is spectacular and feels very lavish.

I took a little breather while the guests, Tracy and Dean enjoyed their meal before capturing some brilliant speeches. The night for me came to an end after photographing the first dance and dancing back in the barn.

Wedding Photography at Nuthurst Grange

I have photographed many weddings in fine venues all over the UK.  I see why Tracy and Dean chose to get married at Nuthurst Grange.  A mansion and barns, set in 7 acres of mature green woodland, If it's a grand backdrop you are looking for, this really is the place.  The photo opportunities are endless and it is a dream venue for a photographer, with so many fantastic options available.

I really loved working with Tracy and Dean, such genuine lovely people and a great celebration.
