A Beautiful August Wedding at Manor on the Lake, Cheltenham - Molly & David

There are some weddings where everything just seems to come together perfectly, and Molly and David’s August wedding at Manor on the Lake in Cheltenham was definitely one of them.

With long summer evenings and balmy weather, August was the perfect time for Molly and David to celebrate with their family and friends.

A Beautiful Manor on the Lake Wedding

Set amongst the Gloucestershire countryside, Manor on the Lake is an incredible wedding venue, with its elegant manor house, gardens and lake creating a beautiful backdrop throughout the day.

The morning was filled with anticipation as Molly and David got ready. From the final preparations to the laughter shared with friends and family, there were plenty of lovely moments to capture before the ceremony.

Then it was time to get married. Surrounded by the people closest to them, Molly and David exchanged their vows in a ceremony full of smiles, emotion and a few happy tears.

Natural & Relaxed Wedding Photography

I love photographing weddings as they unfold, rather than taking couples away from their guests for hours of posed photographs. For me, it's about giving couples space to enjoy the day while quietly capturing the moments as they happen.

After the ceremony, Molly and David took some time together for a walk around the grounds, to get some lovely couple photos. The summer light was beautiful, and the gardens and house gave us plenty of opportunities for some relaxed photographs without keeping them away from their guests for too long.

It was also a chance for the two of them to pause, take everything in and enjoy that newly-married feeling.

Celebrating with Family & Friends

Back with their guests, the celebrations continued with great food, plenty of conversation and some brilliant speeches.

I always enjoy seeing how a couple's personalities come through during the reception, and Molly and David's day was no exception. There were some great reactions during the speeches before things really got going on the dance floor.

And for something a little different, the evening even featured a roulette table, adding another element of fun to the celebrations.
