Georgie & Adam’s Summer Wedding at Hollands Farm
There are some wedding days that have a little bit of everything — beautiful summer sunshine, plenty of laughter, incredible surroundings and those unforgettable moments that you know you’ll remember for years to come.
Georgie and Adam’s wedding at Hollands Farm was exactly that.
From the moment I arrived at Dove House to photograph Georgie getting ready, there was a real sense of excitement building. The morning was filled with all the little details, plenty of laughter and those lovely quiet moments before the celebrations really began.
Getting Ready at Dove House
Georgie’s preparations at Dove House were the perfect start to the day. There was a wonderful atmosphere as she got ready with her closest friends and family, with the excitement growing as the ceremony drew closer.
I always love photographing this part of a wedding. It’s not just about the dress, flowers and finishing touches — it’s about capturing the relationships, the nerves, the laughter and all those little moments that happen naturally in the background.
And before long, it was time to head to Hollands Farm.
A Very Special Arrival
Rather than making a traditional entrance, Georgie arrived at Hollands Farm in a horse and cart. It was absolutely brilliant and made for such a memorable entrance.
As she arrived, you could see the excitement on everyone's faces. The combination of the beautiful summer setting, the horse and cart and Georgie arriving to meet Adam created one of those genuinely magical wedding moments that you simply can't stage.
It was a fantastic way for Georgie to make her entrance — and definitely one I'll remember from this wedding for a long time!
A Beautiful Summer Celebration
Once the ceremony was underway, the day settled into the relaxed, joyful celebration that Georgie and Adam had clearly hoped for.
Hollands Farm provided the perfect backdrop, with its beautiful countryside setting making the most of the summer weather. There was plenty of time for the couple to enjoy being together, catch up with their guests and simply take everything in.
And, as always, some of my favourite photographs came from the moments nobody planned — a laugh between friends, a hug from a family member, a quick glance between Georgie and Adam or guests enjoying themselves completely unaware that they were being photographed.
Capturing the Moments That Matter
One of the things I love most about photographing weddings is that every couple has their own story. My job is to capture all of those pieces of the day so that, when you look back through your photographs years from now, you don't just remember what the wedding looked like — you remember how it felt.
For Georgie and Adam, there was certainly no shortage of moments to capture.
From those first preparations at Dove House, through to the incredible horse and cart arrival, the ceremony, celebrations and everything in between, it was a fantastic summer wedding filled with personality, laughter and plenty of love.
Congratulations again, Georgie and Adam! It was an absolute pleasure to be there and capture your wonderful wedding day at Hollands Farm.
