Cherwell Boathouse Wedding, Harriet & Alex
On one of the hottest days of 2022 I was at the fabulous Cherwell Boathouse to photograph Harriet and Alex’s Wedding. I had wanted to photograph a wedding at the Cherwell Boathouse and was so pleased to finally get the chance.
Harriet got ready at the Old Parsonage Hotel, before making the short walk to Green Templeton College for the Ceremony. Harriet made her way through the beautiful gardens and up the winding staircase to the observatory where Alex and the guests were waiting. The observatory is definitely a wow spot to say your vows. Panoramic views out over Oxford and flooded with natural light. A beautiful ceremony followed Harriet’s entrance into this spectacular space.
A short time was spent in the gardens before Harriet and Alex left to take a boat ride to the Cherwell Boathouse.

Awaiting Harriet and Alex’s arrival at the Cherwell Boathouse, I spent the time capturing some lovely candid photos of the guests enjoying a drink and the very warm sunshine.
following Harriet and Alex’s arrival by punt and a mini confetti shower, we headed off to take some lovely natural photos in the beautiful grounds.
After the meal and speeches the first dance and dancing followed.

I have photographed many weddings in my time as a wedding photographer and it was great to finally work at both Green Templeton College and the Cherwell Boathouse. Both amazing venues for a photographer, with so many fantastic options available.
